Tulare Home Care

Tulare Home Care can assist in promoting health and providing treatment in the patient’s own home. Direct health care services and educational programs are available for patients and families who want independence from formal care systems.  

Tulare Home care covers a wide range of health and social services, including:

• Skilled Nursing Care
• Certified Home Health Aides
• Medical Social Services
• Rehabilitation Services including physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy

Home care personnel can also provide care for terminally ill patients with close communication with the physician to assure the patient is comfortable and symptoms are controlled. Care and services are also directed to support family and caregivers. 

Tulare Home Care is Medicare certified and accredited by Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. It serves Tulare and Kings counties.

Home Care currently serves about 100 patients in the South Valley area. Referrals are made by the patient’s attending physician.

Tulare Home Care staff includes registered nurses and licensed vocational nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists and home health aides.

The agency serves patients in Porterville, Hanford, Visalia, Tulare, Corcoran, Pixley, Earlimart, Farmersville, Lindsay, Exeter, Dinuba and Alpaugh.

Home Care takes many forms of insurance, including Medicare and Medi-Cal.
