Sponsorship Program

Tulare District Hospital has a sponsorship agreement designed to enhance career training opportunities for staff seeking licensure or certification in selected career paths.

Candidates applying for the sponsorship must have completed pre-requisite classes and be enrolled in an approved program. They must also have been employed by TDH for three months in a regular full-time or regular part-time position. Employee will work a reduced number of hours to allow the employee to engage in a specified course of instruction. The number of hours worked while school is in session will be equally matched with hours used for educational purposes not to exceed 36 hours per pay period.

The employee agrees to remain employed at Tulare District Hospital after the successful completion of the course of study and receipt of licensure for a minimum of two years.
